Tomorrow, August 6th is gleaning day!!! The Bible Says “When you gather the grapes in your vineyard, don't glean the vines after they are picked. Leave the remaining grapes for the foreigners, orphans, and widows. Deuteronomy 24:21” Gleaning is the custom of allowing those who are in need to collect the leftover crops from farmers' fields after they have been commercially harvested or on fields where it is not economically profitable to harvest. Pick as many berries as you would like for a suggested donation of $5 that will be given to A Family for Every Child. We will be open from 8-12. Hope to see you there.

We would like to take a moment to thank everyone who came out in support of our blueberry festival on Saturday. Our goal was to raise $1,500 which is the amount needed to provide one scholarship for a family wanting to adopt their forever child. WE DID IT! We surpassed that goal reaching $1,600. Thank you especially to Kelly and Buddy, Kudana Marimba, A Family for Every Child, Jessica and all of the AFFEC volunteers, Home Depot and all of their volunteers, Dess Legend face painting, Sierra, Savannah and family, the Baum family, Mark and Sue Adkins, Patt Lang, and many more. We could not have done this without your help and support.
